Announcing New Chenery Collection of Meadow Stable Memorabilia
We are thrilled to announce an exclusive new exhibit at The Meadow of rare Meadow Stable memorabilia from the personal collection of Penny Chenery and her family. The Chenery Collection features such items as: the black riding boots of Penny’s father, Christopher T. Chenery, who founded Meadow Stable in 1936; the original starter’s bell from the starting gate of The Meadow training track; a Riva Ridge horseshoe plaque and more. The collection is a new highlight of the “Hoofprints of History” Tours of Secretariat’s birthplace, which are available Tuesday – Sunday by reservation. Book your tour here.
